ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent police to file a charge sheet in connection with the case in Crime No.140 of 2025 dated 28.02.2025 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Peernkankaranai Police Station, Peerkkankaranai, Chengalpattu District.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the investigation in this case has been completed and the case has been referred as 'further action dropped'. Learned counsel further submitted that steps have been taken to serve the final report on the defacto complainant.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this criminal original petition stands closed.
