The petitioner seeks production of her daughter, Ms.M.Amirthavarshini, aged about 18 years.

2. According to the petitioner, her daughter left the house on 27.10.2025 and despite search, they could not locate her. In this regard, she gave a complaint, which resulted in registration of the First Information Report in Crime No.327 of 2025 for “Woman Missing” by the second respondent.

However, the whereabouts of the missing daughter have not been traced as on date. Hence, the petitioner seeks production of her daughter.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents

1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's daughter had eloped with the third respondent. Since she is a major, it is submitted that it is a case of elopement and she is not under any illegal detention.

4. Let the respondent continue the investigation and produce the girl before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate.

5. With the above observation and directions, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
