ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 07.07.2025 seeking for issuance of patta with respect to the subject property by showing the survey number as 301/7 instead of survey No.301/8.

2. Heard Mr.A.Neeraj, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.S.Indhu Bala, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondent.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he is the absolute owner of the subject property by virtue of a registered Sale deed dated

21.01.1998 registered as document No.90 of 1998.

4. The petitioner submitted an application on 07.07.2025 seeking for issuance of patta in his name. Acting upon the same, the approval was communicated by the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar, Tirutani on 02.08.2025 mentioning patta No.2404. Thereafter, there is a delay in issuing patta and it is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondent to issue the patta in the name of the petitioner pursuan
