K.Senthil Kumar S/o.Krishnaswamy – Appellant
Versus
The Secretary to Government – Respondent
For Respondents Mr.V.Veeramani in all WPs: Government Advocate COMMON ORDER (Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice)
Challenge to the second lock and seal notices issued on
10.10.2025 is mainly on the ground that, while revision petitions filed under Section 80A of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 are pending before the revisional authority, the respondents are proceeding with other coercive steps.
2. During the course of hearing, learned counsel for both the parties bring to the notice of this court that now the revisional authority has passed stay order on 28.10.2025. A copy of the order has also been placed for our perusal.
3. As the proceedings have now been stayed, the same would effect all pending proceedings, including the notice dated 10.10.2025, and no further orders are required to be passed in these writ petitions.
4. These writ petitions are disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. WMP Nos.47643, 47696 and 47717 of 2025 filed to permit the petitioners therein to join together and file single writ petitions are allowed, as they have paid separate court-
