The petitioners' case in the matter of challenge to rejection of their application for one-time settlement is based on the Reserve Bank of India's guidelines dated 03.09.2005. The petitioners have not set out the guideline which was in force on the date of their application for one-time settlement i.e. on 28.03.2025.
2. Therefore, the petition in the present form does not give rise to any triable cause of action. The petition is dismissed; however with liberty to file a proper petition. There will be no order as to costs. 3. WMP No.47510 of 2025 filed to permit the petitioners to file a single writ petition is allowed, subject to payment of separate court fees within a period of two weeks from today.
