Repeatedly filing frivolous petitions can lead to dismissal with costs.

PRAYER Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct a joint inspection and submit a status report before this Honble court in order to identify the status of Ryotwari patta land in survey No. 174 Sembarambakkam Village, measuring an extent of 54 acres, 74 cents situated in Sembarambakkam Village No. 65 Poonamallee Taluk, Thiruvallur district which are classified as Ryotwari patta lands pursuant to the representation dated 11.07.2025.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for admission today, this Court brought to the notice of the learned counsel for the petitioner the earlier order passed by the Division Bench in WA.No.3213 of 2024, dated 7.10.2025, wherein the appeal filed by the father of the petitioner was dismissed by this Court. Thereafter, I had an occasion to deal with yet another writ petition filed by the petitioner in WP.No.39270 of 2025 and the said writ petition was dismissed by an order dated 13.11.2025. This Court therefore expressed its mind that the petitioner has been repeatedly involved in filing frivolous writ petitions before this Court and hence this Court wants to dismiss the present writ petition with costs.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that she will withdraw the present writ petition and made an endorsement to that effect.

3.In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
