The petitioner sent a representation dated 08.09.2025 to the respondents seeking 30 days ordinary leave to the Convict Prisoner Karthick, S/o.Nakeeran, aged about 39 years, Convict No.9763, but the same has been rejected vide the impugned order dated 07.10.2025. Challenging the same, the present writ petition has been filed.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner sought for 30 days leave to the convict prisoner for making financial arrangement for the education of her grandchildren.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the convict prisoner has not completed three years of actual imprisonment and hence, the petitioner’s representation for leave could not be considered.
4. In view of the above submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, we are not inclined to entertain the present writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. However, it is open to the petitioner to revive her request before the Authorities after completion of three years of imprisonment.
