For Petitioner : Mr.M.Vijayaragavan For Respondents : Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan Additional Public Prosecutor O R D E R (Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.)
The present writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the second respondent dated 11.10.2025 rejecting the request of the petitioner for grant of emergency leave to her son viz., Tamilselvan, S/o.Kamaraj (PID No.209551), aged about 35 years, the convict prisoner and for a direction to the respondents to grant 15 days emergency leave.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been advised to undergo cataract surgery and she has nobody to take care of her other than the convict prisoner and hence, she sent a representation to the respondents seeking 15 days emergency leave to the petitioner, but the same has not been considered.
3. On a perusal of the impugned order, it is seen that the second respondent has only directed the petitioner to produce the medical certificate. It is also stated in the impugned order that if the medical certificate is produced, the petitioner's request will be considered. In stead of producing the certificate as sought for by the Authorities, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. Hence, we are of the view that it is for the petitioner to produce the necessary medical certificate as required by the Authorities and we are not inclined to entertain the present writ petition.
Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed.
