The petition has been filed complaining that the husband of the petitioner M.Ashokkumar, aged about 54 years, had been missing and in this connection, she had given a representation before the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Ramanthapuram on 24.10.2025. Thereafter, the present Habeas Corpus Petition had been filed.
2. The petitioner had also impleaded two private individuals as R3 and R4. It was alleged that the husband was under their confinement at Paramakudi in Ramanathapuram District.
3. The 2nd respondent was however able to locate the husband of the petitioner and had also produced photographs to show that he was lying in bed and was physically not able to move out and requires treatment. It is stated that the 3rd and 4th respondents were taking care of him.
4. It had also to be noted that the petitioner herein had lodged a complaint on 07.11.2025, on the basis of which, FIR in Crime No.20/2015 had been earlier registered by the All Women Police Station, Ramanathapuram for offences punisha
