Aggrieved over the judgment of conviction and sentence passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Chennai, Mahila Neethimandram, Chennai in S.C.No.172 of 2017, dated 26.08.2019, convicting the appellant/accused for the offence under Section 302 IPC (4 counts), however, found guilty for the charge under Section 377 of IPC and sentenced him to undergo life imprisonment for each count and to pay a fine of Rs.5,000/- for each count, in default, to undergo six months simple imprisonment for each count, the accused has filed the present appeal.
2.The case of the prosecution is as follows :
2.1. The accused is the second husband of the deceased Pandiyammal. Previously Panidammal was married to one Chinnaraj and she had three daughters, viz., Pavithra, Parimala and Sneha through him. The accused was residing along with the deceased 1 to 4 as tenants under PW1 from the year 2012 at a monthly rent of Rs.4,000/-.
