Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents No.1 and 4 to remove the encroachment made in Survey No.140/2, Ravathanallur Village, Vanapuram Taluk, Kakkalurichi District to the extent of 008.50 hectare by implementing the order passed by the 4th respondent in Na.Ka.A3/1113/2025 dated 23.05.2025 within the time frame fixed by this Honourable Court.

Heard.

2. In view of the statement made by learned State counsel that during the pendency of the petition, after survey, notice under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 (the Act) was issued to respondent No.7, followed by order passed under Section 6 of the Act, we are not inclined to proceed further in this matter.

3. We leave it open for respondent No.7 to take appropriate remedy, as may be available to him under law, if he is aggrieved by the order passed under Section 6 of the Act.

4. The petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
