O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents 2 and 3 to measure the land belonging to the petitioner’s sister and fix the boundary in Survey No.46/3A2, Gandhi Nagar, Manamelkudi Village, Pudukottai District, to an extent of 0–3.00 Ares, with the aid of adequate police protection from the fourth respondent, pursuant to the petitioner’s representation dated 07.11.2025.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the materials available on record.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that a representation dated 07.11.2025 was made seeking survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the property in question. Since no action has been taken by the respondents, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that after considering the claims of all parties, proper steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.
5. In view of the above, this Court directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 07.11.2025 for survey and demarcation on merits and in accordance with law. Notice shall be issued to the petitioner and the owners of relevant adjacent lands and appropriate orders shall be passed in accordance with Sections 9 and
10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act 1923, within a period of eight weeks from today. In the event of any rival claims, the same can be agitated before the competent civil court. No costs.
