ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner’s representation/appeal dated 26.07.2023 requesting for cancellation of patta issued in the name of the third respondent pertaining to the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition.

2. The petitioner claims that a false patta has been issued in favour of the third respondent for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. Therefore, he seeks for cancellation of the said patta and has given a representation/appeal dated 26.07.2023 to the first respondent for the said purpose. Since the same has not been considered by the first respondent, he has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.C.Jaya Prakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse orders are passed against the third respondent in this writ petition, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents 1 and 2 if they are directed to pass final orders on the petitioner’s representation/appeal dated 26.07.2023 on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner’s representation/appeal dated 26.07.2023 seeking for cancellation of patta issued in favour of the third respondent for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after issuing notice to the third respondent and hearing his objections, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No Costs.
