This Writ of Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third respondent to produce the petitioner’s Minor Son T.Pavithran, aged 14 years before this Court.

2. The petitioner is the father of T.Pavithran, aged 14 years, who has been missing since 19.11.2025. According to the petitioner, on that day, he had asked his son to stay at his grandmother’s house, which is located opposite their residence. However, his son did not return home thereafter. Despite searching all known places, the family was unable to trace him, and therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the third respondent- Police. Pursuant to the complaint, a case in Crime No.393 of 2025 was registered for ''Boy Missing''. Since no action was forthcoming, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of filing the present petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the said T.Pavithran had voluntarily gone missing from his grandmother’s house. He further submitted that the Police are taking earnest steps to secure the boy. 4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

5. Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner’s son viz.,T.Pavithran, aged 14 years, has been missing since 19.11.2025, the third respondent-Police is directed to secure the petitioner’s son on or before

15.12.2025 and produce before this Court.

6. With the above direction, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands disposed of.

7. List the matter “For Reporting Compliance’’ on 16.12.2025.
