COMMON ORDER

W.P.(MD)No.28975 of 2024 has been filed invoking Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a directin to the first respondent / the Principal Secretary, Public Department, Special-A, Secretariat, Chennai to forward the petitioner's complaiint dated 28.12.2020 to the second respondent/ Additional Director General of Police, Head of the CBCID, Egmore, Chennai so as to enable them to conduct enquiry and also by considering his representation dated 13.10.2024.

W.P.(MD)No.3135 of 2025 has been filed invoking Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent / the Director, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Chennai to take necessary action over the petitioner's representations dated 30.08.2021 and 21.02.2024 for taking necessary action against the persons who had revealed the petitioner's identity as a complainant in public interest litigation against the fourth respondent and to provide him with adequate police protection.

3. The petitioner in W.P.(MD)No.28975 of 2024 raised allegations against one B.Ganesan, an officer in the cadre of IAS, then DRO/Secretary Personnel Tamil Nadu Housing Board and since no action was taken on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, he filed the above writ petition. In the writ petition in W.P.(MD)No.3135 of 2025, the petitioner has stated that while he was in judicial custody in connection with the case in Cr.No.125 of 2021, sent a representation dated 30.08.2021, to the Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption to conduct an enquiry regarding all the misdeeds of the said Ganesan as to how he had managed to file a false complaint agaisnt the petitiner through his relative and sought for some other reliefs and that he sent a representation dated 21.02.2024 to take necessary action against the people who revealed the petitioner's identity and gave the copies of his complaint to the said Ganesan and since there was no action on his complaints, he was forced to file the said Writ Petition.

4. It is evident that the arguments were advanced in the writ petitions before the then learned Port
