Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing respondents to produce the body or person of the petitioner's son , the detenu, viz., Paulpandi, S/o.Sagadevan, aged about 25 years before this Court and set him at liberty.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J. This Habeus Corpus Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the petitioner's son , the detenu, viz., Paulpandi, S/o.Sagadevan, aged about 25 years before this Court and set him at liberty.

2. The son of the petitioner is working as a conductor in a private bus. He got married and thereafter he was missing from 13.10.2025, therefore the petitioner lodged compliant and the same was registered in Crime No.221 of 2025 under 'Man Missing'. Even thereafter the third respondent did not take steps to find out the missing person and therefore the petitioner has approached this Court by way of this petition.

3. The missing person was secured and produced before this Court today.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that though the missing person already got married he eloped with another woman. There is a dispute between his first wife and the family members of the petitioner.

5. Now the missing persons is produced before this Court .If at all any family dispute the missing person or the affected person ought to have approached the appropriate family court in the manner known to law.

6.Recording the same the Habeus Corpus Petition stands closed.
