ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to pay difference in Gratuity and Leave Salary with pension arrears based on increased Grade Pay and revised pay as per 12(3) settlement dated 04.10.2018 with 12%

interest, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner joined the service of the first respondent and retired from service on 30.06.2017. Thereafter, he submitted representations on 16.11.2024 and 29.11.2024 seeking his retiral benefits which are stated supra. As the said representations have not been considered, till date, this writ petition has been filed with the aforesaid prayer.

3. Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

4. In view of the limited request sought for in this writ petition with regard to interest on the belated payment of terminal benefits, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 16.11.2024 and 29.11.2024 and to pay interest at the rate of 6% for the belated payment of terminal benefits from the date of retirement till the date of actual disbursal of terminal benefits of the petitioner, and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order taking into account the bank rate of interest on deposits. 5. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
