ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.)
Writ on hand has been instituted to quash the order passed by 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.A3/ 6385/ 2025, dated 10.09.2025 and consequently, direct respondents to issue patta to petitioner property in Survey No. 150/3, an extent of 11 cents situated at Ajees Nagar, A-Sathanur Village, Ulundhurpet Post, Kallakurichi district.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that subsequent to impugned notice, subject unauthorised construction had already been demolished by revenue authorities. Petitioner would further submit that he may be granted liberty to file an application seeking patta.
3. Grant of patta is to be considered, strictly in terms of Government policy and Revenue Standing Orders (RSO). Thus, such a relief deserves no merit consideration in present writ petition. Since unauthorised construction has already been demolished, no further adjudication is required. However, whether lands are resumed or not, is to be ascertained by competent authorities, if not resumed, then eviction proceedings must be concluded in all respects as expeditiously as possible.
4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, are closed.
