This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the case in WLOR No.2 of 2025, pending on the file of the respondent Police.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the investigation in this case has already been completed; the final report has also been filed and the same has been taken up for trial in C.C.No.8179 of 2025, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.2, Chengalpattu.

3. At this juncture, the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to challenge the final report.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
