This writ petition is filed for the following relief:

“forbearing the respondents from discharging drainage or sewage water into the petitioner's land, and consequently directing the respondents to construct a proper drainage channel for the disposal of such drainage/sewage water near survey number 223/6 in Mettu Neerethan village, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District within time frame fixed by this Court.”

3. The respondents have given a proactive suggestion that they will implement the measures to check the sewage overflow within a period of six months.
