Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to renew the approval for the petitioner’s school in pursuant to his application dated 23.05.2018 and by considering the petitioner’s representations dated 11.10.2020 and 05.12.2024.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondents to consider the representations made by the petitioner on 11.10.2020 and 05.12.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking renewal of approval for the petitioner’s school pursuant to the application submitted by the petitioner on 23.05.2018.

2. Heard Mr.M.Elango, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.S.Prabhakaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents submitted that the application submitted by the petitioner seeking renewal will be dealt with by third respondent and the decision will be conveyed to the petitioner. In the light of the above submission, this Court is not going into the merits of the case and it will suffice to issue a direction to third respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner and convey the decision to the petitioner within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
