COMMON ORDER

These Criminal Original Petitions are filed to quash the impugned final report, in P.R.C.No.201 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Tirunelveli, which was filed for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 324, 307, 506(2), and 34 of the IPC; and to quash the impugned final report, in C.C.No.2331 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Tirunelveli, which was filed for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 448, 294(b), 427, 323, 324, and 506(2) of the IPC r/w. Section 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002.

2. These two Final Reports have been filed pursuant to the investigation in two First Information Reports, which have been registered as case and case in counter.

3. The allegation in both cases is that, the petitioners in both cases, who are neighbours, had a dispute regarding the construction of a wall, and pursuant to a wordy altercation, they attacked each other, thereby committing the aforesaid offences.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners in both the cases would submit that the parties have now arrived at a compromise and they have filed a joint compromise memo dated 19.11.2025 separately.

5. The petitioners, namely A.Nowshath (Aadhaar No.4400 8417 9811), Sankar (Aadhaar No.5829 3590 6676), Shanmugasundari (Aadhaar No.9965 5027 6575), Sheikmohideen (Aadhaar No.6641 8475 1721), and the 2^nd respondent, namely Vigneshviswanathan (Aadhaar No.8049 8364 1183) in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.18999 of 2025, and the petitioners, namely Vigneshviswanathan (Aadhaar No.8049 8364 1183), Murugan (Aadhaar No. 6636 0684 7565), Uikattan (Aadhaar No.5855 6263 8429), Paramasivan (Aadhaar No.9460 2481 0286), Nadarajan (Aadhaar No.5313 4998 3404), and the 2^nd respondent, namely Sankar (Aadhaar No.5829 3590 6676), in Crl.O.P. (MD)No.19098 of 2025, are present before this Court in person. They are identified by Mr.S.Sankarasubramanian, Special Sub Inspector of Police, Tirunelveli Town Police Station, Tirunelveli District. All the parties confirmed the compromise arrived at between them.
