2. It is not in dispute that the petition mentioned lands are the patta lands of the writ petitioner. The respondent obviously cannot lay any pathway through the said patta lands without acquiring the same in the manner known to law. So long as the petition mentioned lands retain the character of patta lands, the respondents cannot lay any pathway through the same. The writ petition is allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
