O R D E R
This Criminal Revision is filed to call for the records on the file of the first respondent relating to the order dated 01.03.2024 in proceedings No.5251/DCR/B3/KKL/2024/04 under Section 144(1) of Cr.P.C on the file of the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Karaikal and set aside the same.
2. The facts of the case is that there was a dispute over the control and administration of the day to day activities of the temple of Sri Thekunamuthumariamman, Sri nadana Kaliamman, Sri Bathrakalliaman and Sri Padai Bathirakaliamman temples, Karaikal which still persists over there between the rival groups( A and B group) of influensive people belonging to same community, causing apprehension of disturbance to the maintenance of law and order conditions in that area of Valatheru and other adjoining residential areas. Hence, the first respondent ordered to abstain from a certain act of doing anything in the temple premises except carrying out the daily routine Pooja activities on 01.03.2024. Challenging the same the present petition was filed.
3.Pursuant to which on 06.03.2024 another order was passed wherein, it was stated that one P.Subramanian, TGT, Govt Higher School was appointed as a fit person to make all arrangements for the smooth conduct of the Renovation works connected with Kumbabishekam.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent made a submission that the relief sought for in this Criminal Revision case has now become infructuous and the learned counsel for the petitioner also accedes to the same.
5. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor, this Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous
