ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to mutate the patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of Survey Nos.471 and 624/3, measuring 7 Acres and 93 Cents and 1 Acre and 34½ Cents respectively, situated at Vellampadi Village, Aravakuruchi Taluk, Karur District. The petitioner further seeks action in light of Memo O.Mu.A4/7450/2025 dated 27.09.2025 of the third respondent, requesting a report after appropriate enquiry for mutation, by considering the petitioner’s representation dated 22.09.2025, within the time to be stipulated by this Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is the owner of the subject property, which was purchased in the year 1983.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submits that the same subject property is the subject matter of a civil suit pending before the Principal District and Sessions Court, Karur, in O.S.No.3 of 2024, in which the petitioner is arrayed as the 11th defendant.
4. When the subject property is under adjudication before the Civil Court, the question of seeking a Patta does not arise. The issuance of Patta would depend upon the findings of the Civil Court.
5. In view of the above observations, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
