ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for non compliance of the order dated 14.09.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.No.12868 of 2005, thereby directing the respondent to re-designate the petitioner as Cook/Commis Grade-I with effect from 01.01.2000 with all consequential seniority, arrears and all other benefits.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader (Pondy)

appearing for the respondent submitted that aggrieved by the order passed by this Court, the respondent preferred a Writ Appeal in W.A.No.3054 of 2025, and the Hon’ble Division Bench of this Court by an order dated 29.10.2025 granted an interim order as no coercive steps shall be taken pursuant to the impugned order.

3. In view of the above interim order passed by the Hon’ble Division Bench of this Court, the Contempt Petition stands closed at present. The petitioner is at liberty to revive the Contempt Petition subject to the result of the Writ Appeal.
