ORDER

In view of the nature of arguments that are made on either side, this Court suo motu impleads the Revenue Divisional Officer, Gobichettypalayam, Erode district - 638 452 as the eighth respondent in the Writ Petition. Mr.R.Murthi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the eighth respondent.

2. This Writ Petition is filed in the nature of Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to implement the order passed by second respondent, dated 25.09.2023 within the time fixed by this Court.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner sought electricity connection in respect of his land in S.F.No.465/1 etc., at Perumugai village, Thookkanaickanpalayam, Gobichettypalayamm on 07.11.2018. Even though estimates were prepared and steps were taken for grant of connection, one Kasiviswanathan and Maruthachalam submitted objections, on account of which, the connections could not be effected. The petitioner, therefore, submitted a complaint before the Electricity Consumer Redressal Forum vide complaint No.CGRF/22/2023. After detailed enquiry, by the order, dated 20.05.2023, the said Forum took into consideration that the connection can be effected by forming appropriate pathway by getting permission from the Revenue Divisional Officer, Gobichettypalayam and after taking into consideration of the same, directed that in the absence of any valid document that is submitted by the said objectors, the connection can be effected.
