ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus as against the first respondent for expeditious disposal of the appeal preferred by the writ petitioner under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.
2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the petitioner is a senior citizen aged 90 years and her petition before the second respondent was dismissed. Challenging the same, the appeal has been preferred by the petitioner before the first respondent on 24.10.2025.
3. Considering the age of the writ petitioner, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal on or before 31.01.2026
4. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed. No costs.
