ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.1663 of 2021, dated 08.02.2022, whereby the respondent was directed to serve a copy of referred charge-sheet in Crime No.199 of 2008 within a period of four weeks.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that as directed by this Court, the petitioner had already been duly served with referred charge-sheet in Crime No.199 of

2008 as early as on 13.09.2023 itself.

3.In view of the above submission, no contempt is made out as against the respondent and this Contempt Petition stands dismissed. 18.12.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No ps To The Inspector of Police, Kanyakumari Police Station, Kanyakumari.
