Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C./528 of

BNSS, 2023 to direct the first respondent police to transfer the investigation in the above Crime No.39 of 2025 dated 19.11.2025 on the file of the Inspector of Police, AWPS, Kottakuppam, Villupuram District to the fourth

respondent.

ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to direct the first respondent police to transfer the investigation in Crime No.39 of 2025 dated 19.11.2025 on the file of the Inspector of Police, AWPS, Kottakuppam, Villupuram District to the file of the fourth respondent.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submits that the complaint lodged by the de facto complainant, Vijayalakshmi was investigated in Cr.No.39 of 2025 by the third respondent and upon completion of the investigation, a final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Mylapore, referring the case as a mistake of fact. He further submits that the RCS notice has also been duly served on the de facto complainant. In view of the same, the question of transferring the investigation does not arise.

3. Recording the said submissions, this criminal original petition stands closed.
