ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to direct the first respondent police to execute the Non-Bailable Warrant dated 25.04.2025 issued by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court-II (Metropolitan Magisterial level), Allikulam, Egmore in S.T.C.No.1476 of 2025 against the second respondent within the stipulated period fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent-Police submits that though this petition has been filed seeking the aforesaid relief, the Non- Bailable Warrant issued by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court-II (Metropolitan Magisterial level), Allikulam, Egmore could not be executed as the second respondent / accused passed away on 07.10.2025. A copy of the death certificate dated 15.12.2025, has also been produced before this Court.

3. Recording the said submissions, this criminal original petition stands closed.
