Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2^nd respondent, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thiruvannamalai, to consider petitioner’s online application dated 10.9.2025 seeking to provide Kurumans Scheduled Tribe (ST) Community Certificate to the petitioner, under the supervision of the 1^st respondent, the District Collector, Thiruvannamalai, as per G.O (Ms.) No.104, dated 21.08.20223, within

a time limit.

As against the petitioner’s statement in the affidavit that his application for issuance of community certificate is pending, learned counsel appearing for the respondents/Revenue Department has placed for perusal of this Court a copy of the letter dated 03.01.2026, which reflects that the petitioner’s application has been rejected wayback on 25.09.2025.

With liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order of rejection before the appropriate appellate authority under the provisions of law, this petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
