O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Mandamus as against the respondents to provide appropriate compensation to the petitioner in respect of construction of panchayat union primary school on the petitioner's land in Survey No.8/2 at Malleeswaram Village, Vilathikulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District or name the above school after the petitioner's father namely Sakkarai Aasari based on the petitioner's representations dated 24.07.2023 and 08.09.2023.

2. The petitioner made a representation on 08.09.2023, seeking to provide appropriate compensation to the petitioner in respect of construction of panchayat union primary school on the petitioner's land in Survey No.8/2 at Malleeswaram Village, Vilathikulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District or name the above school in the petitioner's father namely Sakkarai Aasari. Since the same was not considered till date, the petitioner has approached this Court.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 08.09.2023, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
