O R D E R

This writ petition (criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to

the respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 20.12.2025, seeking to extend the police protection for conducting temple festival at

Pappathi Amman Temple on 18.01.2026.

2. Mr.S.Santhosh, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), takes notice on behalf of the respondents. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, this writ petition (criminal) is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents police submits that the Police authorities are ready to grant permission to conduct the temple festival on 18.01.2026, subject to certain conditions.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents police, this writ petition (criminal) stands disposed of with a direction to the second respondent police to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct temple festival on
