Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. Though number of grounds have been urged, it is apparently clear that the petitioner has an alternative efficacious remedy of filing statutory revision under Section 80A of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971.

3. The petitioner’s apprehension that no interim order may be passed is misplaced. The authority is invested with power to pass interim order. Therefore, with liberty to pray for interim order as well while preferring revision against the impugned order, the writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
