This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023, to amend the name of the Police Station mentioned as “Vadaponparappi Station” instead of “Vadaponpara Police Station” wherever it occurs in Crl.OP.No.36060 of 2025, order dated on 30.12.2025.

ORDER
This petition has been filed to amend the name of the Police Station mentioned as "Vadaponparappi Station" instead of "Vadaponpara Police Station" wherever it occurs in the order dated 30.12.2025 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.36060 of 2025.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner filed Crl.O.P.No.36060 of 2025 seeking a direction to the learned Principal District Judge, Kallakurichi, to consider his bail application to be filed by him on the same day of his surrender in Crime No.285 of 2025 before the learned Principal District Judge, Kallakurichi. While filing the said petition, in the cause title as well as in the body of the petition, the name of the Police Station has been inadvertently typed as “Vadaponpara Police Station” instead of the correct name of “Vadaponparappi Police Station.” Consequently, the said mistake occurred in the order dated 30.12.2025 also disposing of Crl.O.P.No.36060 of 2025. Therefore, he filed this amendment petition.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents have no objection in ordering this amendment petition.
4. Satisfied with the reasons stated in the petition, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands ordered.
12-01-2026 Note: Registry is directed to carry out the amendment and issue fresh order copy.
