ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking to direct the Trial Court for speedy disposal of the case in Spl.S.C.No.30 of 2025 on the file of the learned Special Court for the Exclusive Trail of cases under POCSO Act, Dindigul to dispose the case on day to day basis within stipulated time.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the accused were convicted and as against the conviction, they have preferred Crl.A(MD)No.753 & 738 of 2025 and Accused Nos.1 and 7 have been enlarged on bail. In view of the same, the witnesses in the above case are facing grave hardship and there is a reasonable apprehension of threat to their life and safety from the convicted persons who are now on bail. Therefore, the petitioner seeks for expeditious conduct of the trial in the learned Special Court for the Exclusive Trail of cases under POCSO Act, Dindigul.

3. Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the nature of the case, the learned Special Court for the Exclusive Trail of cases under POCSO Act, Dindigul is directed to dispose of the case in Spl.S.C.No.30 of 2025 in Crime No.347 of 2024 as expeditiously as possible within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. 12.01.2026 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No gbg To
