ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for wilfully disobeying the order passed in W.P.No.29414 of 2023 dated

24.03.2025.

2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submits that the order of this Court dated 24.03.2025 in W.P.No.29414 of 2023 has been complied with by the respondent vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.3096/A2/2023 dated 30.01.2026. She further submits that the respondent had made the payment of salary arrears to the petitioner in a sum of Rs.14,27,490/- on 05.01.2026 and a sum of Rs.34,815/- on 31.12.2025 by crediting the aforesaid amount to the petitioner’s account.

3. By submitting as above, the learned Special Government Pleader has placed before this Court a copy of the proceedings dated 03.01.2026 and also the details of arrears of salary payable to the petitioner for a sum of Rs.14,27,490/- and Rs.34,815/- aggregating to Rs.14,62,305/- and also the details of the bank remittance effected on 05.01.2026.

4. The aforesaid proceedings dated 03.01.2026 is taken on record.

5. Since, the respondent has now complied with the order of this Court by issuing proceedings dated 03.01.2026 and also having made the payment of arrears of salary on 05.01.2026, though with a delay, this Court is of the view that there is no necessity to proceed with the contempt petition and no further adjudication is necessary.

6. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition is closed.
