PRAYER:- Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to struck off the complaint filed by the respondent herein in D.V.C.No.18 of 2022 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Sirkazhi, Mayiladuthurai District.

ORDER

The Civil Revision petition is filed seeking to strike off the complaint preferred by the respondent under the provisions of Domestic Violence Act.

2.The first petitioner is the husband of the respondent. The second petitioner is the mother-in-law and the third petitioner is the sister-in-law of the respondent.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the respondent preferred the instant complaint under the provisions of Domestic Violence Act just to harass the petitioners and there is no specific allegations in the complaint warranting initiation of proceedings under Domestic Violence Act.
