O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to promote the petitioner to the post of Assistant Commissioner Grade-I (Zone0 strictly in conformity with order dated 09.02.2024 made in W.P.No.19739 of 2023 and in pursuant to the proposal issued by the 2nd respondent vide his proceedings in Roc.No.14157/2024/GA1 dated 26.04.2025 and by considering the petitioner’s representation dated 18.04.2024 and 18.09.2025.
2. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, this writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage.
3. Though a larger relief sought for in this writ petition, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 18.09.2025 and pass appropriate orders within a specified time.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the 1st respondent will consider the petitioner’s representation dated 18.09.2025 and pass appropriate order on the same within a period of twelve weeks.
5. In view of the same, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.09.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above terms. No costs.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
