O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to pass orders for granting approval of appointment of the petitioner in the sanctioned post of Secondary Grade Teacher in the 4th respondent School from the date of appointment with effect from 06.03.2019 by considering the resubmitted proposal by the 4th respondent dated 20.11.2025 with all consequential and other attendant benefits, including payment of arrears of salary from the date of appointment.
2. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, this writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher in the 4th respondent Elementary School, Melpattampakkam, Cuddalore District. Subsequently, the 4th respondent School has forwarded a proposal on 15.06.2021 for approval of the petitioner’s appointment, the same was rejected and again, the 4th respondent School, after rectifying the queries, re- submitted the proposal on 20.11.2025 and the same was not considered yet.
Hence, the present writ petition is filed.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the proposal sent by the 4th respondent dated 20.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders within a specified time.
5. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the 3rd respondent will consider the proposal dated 20.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same within a period of twelve weeks.
6. In view of the same, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the proposal sent by the 4th respondent dated 20.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above terms. No costs.
