O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.04.2023 and dispose of the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

3. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 24.04.2023 to the respondents, seeking to forbear them from laying a road on his patta land. However, no action has been taken on the said representation.

Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4, submits that the petitioner's representation would be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 24.04.2023 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, affter affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.
