This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to issue separate patta for the petitioner's land measuring 49.50 cents in S.Nos. 369/7A and 369/7D based on his representation dated 15.06.2024.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
3. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 15.06.2024 to the first respondent seeking issuance of a separate patta in respect of the property referred to above. However, no action has been taken on the said representation. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 4. Learned Special Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents, submits that the petitioner's representation would be considered on merits and in accordance with law.
5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 15.06.2024 on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. The representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an inquiry. The first respondent is further directed to afford a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, the second respondent and to all other persons who may be interested in the subject property during the course of the inquiry. There shall be no order as to costs.
