ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus as against the first respondent to issue Police Clearance Certificate to the writ petitioner bearing Passport in Passport No. T2165836.

2.According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, no criminal case is pending against him.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the third respondent also submits that there are no criminal case is pending against the writ petitioner. Unless the third respondent forwards a report to the first respondent, the first respondent would not be in a position to issue the Police Clearance Certificate.

4.In view of the aforesaid facts, the third respondent is directed to forward the report to the first respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Based on the said report, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders and issue appropriate certificate to the writ petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.

5.With the aforesaid observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
