Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to complete the enquiry under Sections 36 and 34A of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, commenced by him in his proceedings e.f.vz;.1893/M1/m3/2023, dated 26.07.2023, pursuant to the direction issued by the first respondent by his proceedings f.vz;.22941/12/2023, dated 17.07.2023, and appoint Special Officer to the third respondent Society, take action on the fourth respondent as per law and on the outcome of the said enquiry and conduct election through the Special Officer for restoring proper administration to the third respondent society and its Educational Institution within a time limit as may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R
The present writ petition has been filed by the two members of the third respondent Society seeking a Mandamus as against the second respondent to complete the enquiry initiated by him under Sections 36 and 34A of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, and pass orders within time fixed by this Court.
2. Pending writ petition, the second respondent herein had passed an order on 07.01.2026, wherein he had recommended to the first respondent to invoke Section 34-A of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, for appointment of the Special Officer to the third respondent Society.
3. In view of the completion of the enquiry of the third respondent, nothing survives to be adjudicated in the present writ petition. Based upon the report, it is open to the competent authority under Section 34-A of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act, to pass appropriate orders after giving due opportunity to the interested parties.
4. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
