The present Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to the fourth respondent to produce the CCTV footage dated 22.11.2025 of the fourth respondent police before this Court and to direct respondents 1 to 3 to enquire into the petitioners’ representation dated

26.11.2025 and take necessary action.

2. Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition (Criminal) is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that though a composite prayer has been made before this Court, it would suffice if the fourth respondent police are directed to furnish a copy of the CCTV footage dated 22.11.2025, based on which, the petitioners would proceed further before the appropriate forum.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents handed over a pen drive containing the alleged CCTV footage dated 22.11.2025, as claimed by the petitioners.

6. Recording the fact that the pen drive containing the CCTV footage dated 22.11.2025 has been handed over by the fourth respondent police to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this Writ Petition (Criminal) stands closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
