255(2) of Cr.P.C.

This case came up for settlement before the National Lok Adalat.

Both the parties are present. Mr.K.Arunagiri, learned counsel for the appellant and Mr.V.Suresh Kumar, learned counsel for the respondent are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:

TERMS OF SETTLEMENT This criminal revision petition has been filed against the Judgment made in STC No.6880/2017 on the file of the XXV Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai dated 02.09.2023 confirmed in Crl.A.No.637 of 2023 on the file of the Principal Sessions Court, Chennai, dated 07.06.2024.

2. Both the parties are represented by their respective counsels. The parties agreed for the compromise and the Compromise Memo duly signed by both the parties is filed before this Court and the same is recorded.

3. The complainant is permitted to withdraw a sum of Rs.4,00,000/-

deposited into the court by filing necessary application.

4. Recording the terms of the compromise memo filed by the both parties, the Criminal Revision Petition is closed.
