This case is taken up for settlement before the National Lok Adalat.
Both the parties are present. Mr.I.M. Siddartha Ramarajan, learned counsel for the petitioner is present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle
the matter as follows:
TERMS OF SETTLEMENT
After due deliberation and consultation, both the parties have agreed to
come to a mutual compromise. Thereby, the respondent herein agrees to receive a sum of Rs.6,50,000/- (Rupees Six Lakhs and Fifty Thousands only) and to waive off the sum of Rs.50,000/- of the total Cheque amount of
Rs.7,00,000/-.
2. It is also submitted by the respondent herein that, out of
Rs.6,50,000/-, he had received a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- from the petitioner as early as on 10.03.2023 by way of RTGS to his Axis bank account and the balance amount of Rs.1,50,000/- was received by him through G-pay and by way of bank deposit on 12.12.2025.
3. In view of the above, both the parties have also entered into a Terms of Settlement today, which shall form part and parcel of this order.
4. This Criminal Revision Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. K.C. Anadamuthu Counsel for the Petitioner P. Rajendran (Party- in- Person)
This Lok Adalat award is passed in terms of the above settlement.
The full Court fee paid shall be refunded to the appellant in the manner provided under Section 69-A of the Tamil Nadu Court-Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1955 and the Court Fees Act, 1870 as provided for under sub Sec.1 of Section 21 r/w 25 of LSA Act 1987 as amended in 1994.
