JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was made by G.R.Swaminathan J.)

This writ appeal is directed against the order dated 07.01.2016 made in W.M.P(MD)No.197 of 2016 in W.P(MD)No.266 of 2016 filed by the appellant. The appellant challenged the appointment of Fit Person. The learned single Judge declined to stay the said appointment and observed that the contentions urged by the writ petitioner will have to be dealt with only in the main writ petition. Challenging the said dismissal order, this writ appeal has been filed.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate pointed out that nothing survives for further adjudication. He states that the writ petition was disposed of on 07.03.2022 and election was also held on 24.11.2024 and that the new Board of Trustees has assumed charge. In these circumstances, the proceedings are closed.

3.Accordingly, this Writ Appeal is closed. No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
