ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

2.The writ petitioner had given a representation dated 12.10.2025 to forbear the respondents 1 to 3 from permitting the fourth respondent to sell the petroleum products at the petition mentioned outlet.

3.The second respondent is directed to consider the representation and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Before disposing of the representation finally, the second respondent shall issue notice to the fourth respondent and ascertain the stand of the fourth respondent in this regard. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. All the defences and contentions of the fourth respondent are left open.

4.This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
